Connecting To The Elements Yoga Retreat

Relax and restore yourself at a special weekend retreat where you will be connecting to yourself, nature and the elements.

Surrounded by an amphitheater of expansive nature, yet cocooned within the tranquil gardens of a small retreat. Unwind and centre yourself practicing the nurturing art of Yoga, while exploring the elements within our bodies and within nature.

This three-day retreat is open to both beginners and advanced students. Over the course of the weekend Pahara Yoga teachers Saskia van Leeuwen and Rose Hay will guide you through a yoga practice that will help you to connect deeper with yourself and the Earths elements.

We are going to take a magical journey through an area of pristine mountain wilderness. We explore how the Elements work within us and our natural environment. We connect deeply to our breath allowing it to move us.
We engage the senses: hear, see, smell, touch and taste. Walking mindfully and learning to tread lightly on the earth, becoming more aware of our physical and energetic impact. We will walk to a beautiful waterfall where we can enjoy natures healing power in all its glory. Then a short-guided Meditation while absorbing the sounds of the waterfall.

If we have a rainy day, we will have a workshop instead. We will discuss practical tips on how you can make small lifestyle changes to make a big difference to the Earth. The Theory of the Elements within our bodies and within nature will be explored.

The aim of the retreat is to nurture both body and soul and enable you to install a healthier lifestyle, by connecting deeper with the elements.
By choosing practices like Yoga, healthy eating and being a conscious being; you also choose to live lighter, feel like you have a clearer mind with more energy and to be happier!

Saskia Van Leeuwen + Rose Hay

Yoga instructors

With 200hr YTT’s in Vinyasa yoga and Sivananda yoga. Expect vibrant and energetic morning flows with Saskia and relaxing and restorative afternoon yin classes with Rose. Both Saskia and Rose integrate yoga, creativity and mindfulness that nurtures personal transformation. They believe that Yoga is a powerful healing tool and therapy for our modern life stressors.

Nature and Connecting with the Elements

Rose Hay is a qualified FGASA (Field Guide Association of South Africa) Nature, Marine and Trails Guide. She has always felt a strong connection
to Nature and is passionate about Wildlife Conservation and Animal Communication. Rose is delighted to be sharing this magical landscape and nature with you.
