I, Esmé Kruger, love the process of making art. For me, expressing my creativity is life-giving and food for the soul. As a graduate in fine arts, I taught art, worked as a museum artist, did graphic and media design and was involved in design workshops, events and publications in a variety of roles.
After doing several courses in textile design, printing and dyeing, I fell in love with the process of hand-printing and in 2018 I established the Hand Printing Studio in Swellendam where different applications of hand printing are practised. Having run successful courses in Winter School last year I look forward to transferring my passion and knowledge to you.
